      Current Six-Month Co-op Opportunity
      Location: North American Capability Center (NACC), Tampa.
      This position provides operational and administrational support for the Strategy-to-order team. This role will provide support for managing external services provider (ESP) delivery of operations related to Vendor Master, Requisition-to-Order and Service Desk support activities in accordance with global process and procedures set by Global Process Owner (GPO) team. In addition the role will provide analytical support related to SLA’s & KPI’s in association to the BMS Source to Order (S2O) operations.
      First, Strategy-to-Order Operational Support: 40%
      • Becoming familiar with the BMS Strategy-to-Order (S2O) operational processes and objectives.
      • Support S2O process leads with process improvement projects and initiatives
      • Compile data from on line survey tools, review the info & data for quality and completeness and issues.
      • Compile data related to S2O process, perform analysis and derive recommendations
      • Collect best practices, questions and issues. Research solutions to issues and vet with team.
      • Track metrics and create dashboard on program outcomes.
        Second, Strategy-to-Order Team Admin Support: 30%
      • Schedule weekly meetings for S2O team, track improvement actions and perform follow-ups as required
      • Manage SharePoint sites related to S2O processes and dashboards
      • Identify communication opportunities, draft communications and review with team
      • Conduct monthly Steering Committee meetings outlining program progress
      • Manage and co-ordinate travel programs and agenda for S2O team leads for market and global Service delivery center visits
      • Perform adhoc administration support tasks related meetings managements, travel expense management, office management etc
      Third, Education and Training: 30%
      • Work with Associate Director on delivery center training activities and reporting
      • Work with Regional Operational Managers to co-ordinate support for training activities for end users in various markets
      • Develop training materials for team meetings or lunch and learns
      • Support in organizing and coordinating process improvement workshops as required
      Enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program in business operations and at minimum, successful completion of first year.  Desired backgrounds/degrees include:
      • Business operations
      • Operations Research
      • Data Analysis
      Key Learnings:
      • Learn Strategy-to-Order related procurement operations
      • Performing market research and applying best in class practices/solutions to current business operations
      • Learn to develop focused operational training program and coordinating the program globally
      • Develop operational data analytics and presentation skills
      • Gain knowledge of procurement related systems and tools
      • Apply business operational excellence knowledge to a corporate operation.
        Key Deliverables at Project Completion:
      • At end of the co-op assignment it will be required for the student to create a presentation reflecting their learning’s and recommendations for improvement.
