      Division:  Biologics Global Manufacturing and Supply (GPS) - Syracuse, New York
      Supply Chain
      • Must be enrolled in school the semester of and/or during the assignment, as well as the semester following the assignment, with a 3.0+ GPA
      • Must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) from June 1, 2019 - mid August 2019
      • Qualified candidates will have completed sophomore level coursework which would include business courses.
      • Demonstrated problem solving ability, interpersonal skills, and oral and written communication skills.
      • Technical writing ability required, as well as expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to perform statistical data analysis.MS Visio experience preferred.
      • Previous work experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or a related industry preferred.
      Work Environment: This position is a warehouse based position which requires appropriate levels of personal protective equipment (PPE). The role requires contact with biologics materials. Handling of acids and caustics, and various raw materials may be required. This position is based indoors and will be working primarily in a matrix environment with others, but also independently times.
      Required Skills:
      The ideal candidate will have:
      • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, technical writing and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
      • Demonstrated ability to present ideas, issues and observations into a clear and useful format, and balance project(s) in a fast-paced team environment.
      • Capability to collect, analyze, and integrate information by leveraging appropriate systems technology including SAP, Word, Adobe, Excel and PowerPoint.
      Project Description:
      • Run projects to improve Supply Chain day-to-day operations related to process and procedures. Will require thorough review of requirements, best practices, and gaining alignment with key stakeholder to achieve project goals. May include projects related to warehousing, dispensing, cryogenics and planning based upon continuous improvement needs.
      Key Deliverables at Project Completion:
      • Implementation of updated processes or a robust plan to move toward implementation post term end.
      Key Learnings:
      • Gain an understanding of a GMP regulated environment as well as matrix management.
