Must be enrolled in school the semester of and/or during the assignment, as well as the semester following the assignment, with a 3.0+ GPA

Demonstrated problem solving ability, interpersonal skills, and oral and written communication skills.

Previous work experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or a related industry preferred.

Qualified candidates will have completed sophomore, junior, senior, Masters, or PhD level coursework towards a degree in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, or Related Disciplines

Knowledge of bioreactor operation, cell biology, recombinant protein expression, and aseptic technique, as well as demonstrated implementation of such in a professional lab-based setting, protein biochemistry and process development expertise are desired.

Preferred experience in SDS-PAGE and Western Blotting.

Excellent communication, technical writing, collaboration, and data management skills are required.

The demonstrated flexibility to work in a dynamic, project-based environment is essential.

Demonstrated application of formal project management, experimental design, statistical analysis, system qualification, equipment maintenance, and problem solving methodologies are helpful.

Technical writing ability required, as well as expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to perform statistical data analysis.MS Visio experience preferred.
